Preschool
Thalun International Preschool provides children from 18 to 60 months (1.5 to 5 years old) the opportunity to learn beyond the classroom.
Thalun International Preschool follows The Creative Curriculum® for Preschool. This comprehensive, research-based curriculum features exploration and discovery as a way of learning, enabling children to develop confidence, creativity, and lifelong critical-thinking skills. The curriculum is taught in English. Myanmar translations are available as needed. A child who completes Preschool level (4 years old) is ready for Pre-Kindergarten either at the Golden Valley Campus or at Thalun’s Ahlone Campus.
The Creative Curriculum® for Preschool identifies nine areas of development and learning: Social-Emotional, Physical, Language, Cognitive, Literacy, Mathematics, Science and Technology, Social Studies, and the Arts.
Our Learning Environment
Thalun International Preschool offers children a safe, attractive, and comfortable learning space. The Golden Valley Campus is divided into learning centers which encourage children to either work on their own quietly or work together with their friends.
Our Programs
We offer half-day or full-day programs.
Toddler 1 : 18 months to 2 years old
Toddler 2 : 2 years old to 2.5 years old
Toddler 3 : 2.5 years old to 3 years old
- Half day : 8:30 am to 11:30 am
- Full Day : 8:30 am to 2:15 pm
Preschool : 3 years old to 4 years old
- Half day : 8:30 am to 12:30 noon
- Full Day : 8:30 am to 2:30 pm
Pre-KG : 4 years old to 5 years old
- Full Day : 8:30 am to 2:40 pm

Our Teachers
Thalun International Preschool is staffed with dedicated teachers and teaching assistants. Each class has a teacher and at least one teaching assistant. Most staff members have ECCD certifications from the Myanmar accreditation body. Teachers are proficient in English; teaching assistants have intermediate level English. Each staff member is committed to inspiring children to achieve their full potential in a secure and happy environment.
